Statement: EU Migration Pact reflects the commitment to keep refugees out

The European Commission initiated last September a proposal for a new Pact on Migration and Asylum to be discussed with the Member States. The piece of legislation is, according to Tommaso Segantini, «a vague document, marked by lack of ambition and downward compromise between Members States». Read the writer's column in The New Arab.
