It is long time I didn’t come here and as well as my own blog, I didn’t write anything there for long long time neither. I have to cut the grass here. Lol. It is a Chinese expression means you don’t take care about it for a long while and the “grass” grows up. Another reason is Mr. Jordan must already get mad about me and if I still keep silence, he might shoot me off shortly. Lol. I am kidding.Well, it is true that too many things happened recently in my life, a Chinese student was killed in Paris; Olympic flame was attacked all over the world and especially in Paris; Tibet problem; and a “war” between me and a big manager……

Ø Tibet

Since I was born, I thought Tibet is a part of China, as well as HongKong, Macau and Taiwan. Maybe it has an unusual history but I still believe it was, is and always will be a part of China. In my mind, it is the most beautiful and inviolable place in China, I must go to Lhasa and visit the PotalaPalace one day in my life. I am not interested in history but at this time I read some documents about Tibet. Apparently I seem to be confused. Too many different stories about Tibet and I don't know which is the truth. Ø Olympic Flame + Jin Jing + Olympic Game in my eyes7th of April, the Olympic flame arrived and passed transferred in Paris. I really would like to be there but unfortunately I worked. The torch relay in Paris was interrupted many times. The most notable incident was that several supporters of "Tibetan independence" rushed toward Jin Jing and tried to snatch the torch. "To protect the torch is what every Chinese and every athlete is ready to do. When I joined the torch relay in Paris, I not only passed on the Olympic flame, but also the Chinese people's friendship with the French," said a smiling Jin. I still remember the voice “The city which will host the 29th Olympic Games is Beijing.” “Chinese Seal Dancing Beijing” is our emblem.” “One World One Dream” is our concept. And, do you know “FuWa”? Yes, “BeiBei, JingJing, HuanHuan, YingYing, NiNi” Five lovely children will carry a message of friendship and peace ——Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni——that’s “Welcome to Beijing”. It’s interesting, isn’t it? Well, I know the problem of Tibet exists since long time ago, but I don't understand why it suddenly enlarged at this moment? Why outside China, people mix the Olympic game with the politics? Also in the office, almost everyday I faced the bomb of words by the colleagues. I respect their opinion, everyone could keep their own mind but I also need respect by return. Don't tell me my brain was cleaned up by Chinese government; what I have learned is fake…To be a Chinese, I really feel weakness and I prefer to keep silence. Ø Boycott of CarrefourI believe boycotting is an immature way to handle problems. It works only when you want to create more problems. Thinks will look like this: * French boycott Beijing Olympics in Paris, which leads to
* Chinese boycotting French goods, which lead to
* French or European country boycotting Chinese goods, which leads to
* Even bigger boycotting in China....The circle goes on and each round gets bigger. If that happens, people in France and China are joining hands again. This time, they are working together to create a worst future for human being, or used their joined effort to break peace :-) So as always, I am a big believer of communication, or a "bridge", instead of boycotting.Although I don't want to be to quick to judge whether it is right or wrong in this complicated world, I firmly believe, this time, that people in Paris did something wrong. Taking me as an example, they successfully turned a friend into an enemy (well, again, I am not an enemy yet. Just I feel we are not friend any longer). If this is what they want, good. Well done. I suspect I am not the single Chinese who feel this way.

Ø 19th April, 2008 – Republique, Paris – Demonstration

A peaceful demonstration was held in downtown Paris on Saturday, in which nearly 10,000 Chinese expatriates and students in France expressed support for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and their anger at distorted media reports about the recent Lhasa riots.I joined this event with my friends last Saturday. Everything was well organized within one week by the Chinese students in France and as well as the help from the Chinese expatriates. The organizers provide 6000 printed T-shirts, Chinese flags, throwaway and so on…even we don't know each other, but at this moment, each Chinese walk together. To be continued……
