A new filth campaign - in the form of posters posted in the streets - has been launched by the Hungarian government, this time adding Mr Juncker to Hungarian-American billionaire, George Soros as the target of the defamation.

The Hungarian government's posters tell voters that "you deserve to know what they (referring to Juncker and Soros) are planning ". These posters also statethat "EU leaders are following Soros' orders to "launch experimental immigration projects with African countries; … introduce mandatory settlement quotas; … reduce financial assistance for countries opposed to migration." The European Commission has now denied in detail in a press statement the accusations of the Hungarian government, and on the Commission's Facebook page, an altered version of the Hungarian government's poster states: "You (Hungarians) deserve FACT not FICTION", adding, that
"the Hungarian government campaign beggars belief. It is shocking that such a ludicrous conspiracy theory has reached the mainstream to the extent it has. There is no “they”, only the European Union, with Hungary sitting at the table. The EU supports not undermines national border protection. There are zero plans for “humanitarian visas”. Member States decide to what level they want to accept legal migration."
