PAKTIKA, May 07 – The US-Nato invaders have left unoccupied one of their heavily-guarded military bases with strategic importance stationed in Barmal district, Paktika Province and given it up, shipping out of the area using helicopters.

This base used to come under frequent attacks by Mujahideen combatants and the foreign’s armored tanks, vehicles and trucks had been blown to bits and, while the enemy’s foot patrol and infantry troops were being confronted by Mujahideen attacks on their way out and in. This appears to make it impossible for the foreign soldiers to last and their survival was at stake. Accordingly, they thought it safe to pack their military gears and flee the base through the helicopters while there was still a safe passage out.
