ZABUL, Jun. 09 – 4 hireling Arbaki gunmen (local police/militia) have been killed inside a check post in Shahjoi, according to officials.
Officials say that 2 infiltrator Mujahideen opened fire inside a check post on the enemy in Shubar region’s Zokozo area at 09:00 pm last night, killing 4 gunmen on the spot before grabbing 2 Ak rifles and other equipment and joining up with Mujahideen nearby.
It is worth reminding that such ‘insider’ attacks have increased in the recent past among which is an Afghan officer who killed 7 US invaders in Paktika province before being martyred in return fire as well another officer who killed 6 police in Gerishk district of Helmand province at 03:30 pm on Saturday before joining Mujahideen with seized equipment.
An 11 year old Afghan child also killed an Italian invader and wounded 2 others in Farah city with a hand grenade yesterday at 11:00 am while another Afghan villager in Dehrawod district of Uruzgan province destroyed a US-nato tank with a grenade attack at 09:00 pm last night, likely to have caused the enemy deadly casualties.
