The subject of existence and non-existence of the American bases inside Afghanistan after 2014 made the hottest topic of the previous week. Karzai expressed in a meeting which was convened in connection with the 80th anniversary of Kabul University that America sought nine bases inside Afghanistan. Then he added, “We are agreed to provide them these bases. We accept the existence of foreigners beyond 2014 but they should truly struggle in restoring peace.”
Later on, the white house spokesman and the American ambassador in Kabul very explicitly rejected Karzai’s expressions. They disappointed him. On the other hand, this fresh conspiracy has also stunned the Afghan nation. They are unable to apprehend the implicit meaning of welcoming the alien bases from the courtyard of Kabul University and the factors behind it. Is there something secret going on behind the screen?
Whether this disparity of the American and Karzai viewpoints is accidental or realistic but it has exposed very fascinating realities. The first one is that Karzai is restless and has a kind of psychic problem to the extent that he does not realize the consequences of what he says. “We are agreed to provide them the bases.” On one side, it is against the will and desire of the Afghan nation and on the other side, it is menacing for the regional countries.
Americans have become conscious now that nothing secret should be disclosed. If it is necessary to do so then it should be covered with a colorful pink lie as stated by a diplomat of the American embassy, “It is not true. We have not discussed anything concerning the bases. Our forces will play an advisory role and the access the Afghan forces to these bases is significant for them.”
The second thing exposed is that the cries for peace are nothing but deceit. They want to throw dust into the eyes of the Afghan nation and the world community; because peace can only be restored when the alien forces are completely withdrawn. This is the demand of the Afghan nation and the foremost objective of the Holy Jihad as the operations of ‘Khalid-bin-Waleed’ have been launched for this very purpose. In fact, the existence of invaders is the extension of war. Everyone knows that Afghans cannot put up with alien forces on their soil.
The standpoint of the Islamic Emirate is quite explicit regarding the American bases and their military presence inside Afghanistan i.e. we will continue our Holy Jihad with the grace and support of Allah Almighty till the evacuation of all foreign forces from our holy land and till the implementation of a pure, corruption-free Islamic Government which is the demand of the religion of Islam, the valiant nation and the pious blood of the martyrs.
