Last Wednesday, 17th April 2013, the American forces one again brutally bombed an Afghan family. They entered a home in a brutal and horrific way in the dark of night in Chamkani district of Paktia province. The children, women and other dwellers of home faced their merciless, barbaric and inhuman behaviour. They martyred one person, the owner the house, on the spot in front of others, martyred two women and took away 4 other innocent persons with them. All people of the village and surrounding area remained restless and terrified till morning. It was really a horrific and awful night.
It is a vital fact that the American forces and their barefaced stooges do not take care of any international rules and regulations, cultural values and Afghan traditions while entering the homes of Afghan people. They do not care for the life of children and women inside homes either. They dreadfully enter the homes, blast the gates and open fire. The planes hover in the air and make bombing to horrify the nearby people so that they should not dare to come and assist the oppressed people.
These kinds of incidents are repeated on the daily basis in the cities, villages and far flung areas of our beloved homeland. Women and children are killed. Houses are demolished. The young ones are imprisoned by various lame excuses. They are tortured and given capital punishment by the incompetent judges. Land mines are deposited and blasted by the intelligences in the people’s gathering places and on the common roads in which the civilian losses are inflicted.
The guidance and recommendations of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) to the fighters of the Holy Jihad about the salvage of women, children, aged people and the farmers are mentioned in the Holy books of the Prophet’s traditions; but we have one question and that is, ‘All the human beings are equal. They are born of Adam and Eve. All of them enjoy equal rights according to international rules and regulations. Then where has this huge disparity come from?!!’
On Monday, 15th April, 2013, an incident in Boston city of America shocked the world. The heads of the states sent their condolences to the Americans. The media gave full coverage to the incident. But inside Afghanistan, the incidents of human killing occur on the daily basis and no one is paying any attention. There is neither anyone for condolence nor for sharing the grief. How long this discrimination will be continued? Whether the world and specially the American leaders will be able to realize that this world will only become the cradle of peace and stability when every human being is considered a human being?!!
