KABUL, June 25 - A group of Mujahideen combatants, part of the unit of martyr attackers of the Islamic Emirate, stormed one of the most secured areas at the heart of Afghan capital early Tuesday morning that includes Arg [presidential palace], the ministry of defense, the Ariana hotel used as a CIA headquarters, the U.S. Embassy and the headquarters for the NATO-led coalition invading forces , said the Al-Emara spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid.
The operation is ongoing within the presidential palace, Ariana hotel, the CIA, and the coalition forces’ headquarters the defense ministry and other important government buildings with the group of martyrdom seeking Mujahideen busily fighting the enemy forces, one of the martyr-seeking Mujahideen said on his cell phone.
The claims by the puppets, saying all the attackers had been killed and the operation was brought to an end while life in the city restored to normalcy, are false and unfounded. The fighting is ongoing.
It is worth mentioning that no civilians have been harmed in the operation so far as the fighting is going on in the most restricted zone which cannot be accessed by any civilians.
