Earlier on Tuesday, foreign and internal troops, backed by their armored and air power, carried out a so-called operation and raided Sajawand village of Baraki Barak district, Logar province, besieged the entire village and announced that no person is allowed to come out of their home. During the siege, the enemy entered the homes of locals, forced individuals out of their dwellings and then they mercilessly and brutally martyred them including the children, white bearded and female, throwing and scattering their bodies disrespectfully in near and far reaching areas. The bodies of 28 innocent civilians have so far been discovered, according to latest information.
In this incident, 11 heavily wounded children and women have also been found, tens of homes have been destroyed in bombing and the whole area is gripped in a humanitarian crisis. It should be mentioned that individuals from every household has either been martyred or injured in this operation. Witnesses from the area add that many people are also missing in the area while search for them in ongoing. Bombs have deliberately been thrown inside compounds and houses have deliberately been destroyed.
The enemy extended its hand to this savagery after it tried to raid a Mujahideen compound in the area yesterday but faced heavy losses after fierce resistance which forced them to level the compound with airstrikes, leaving 12 Mujahideen martyred. Looking for blood in revenge, they then began their attack against the locals, children, women and elders and besieged Sajawand village for the next 24 hours. After the enemy left the area, locals found the martyred bodies of up to 28 civilians with many having their noses and ears cut off, their stomachs sliced open, bitten by dogs, hearts taken out and bodies scattered in every direction.
The Islamic Emirate condemns this action of the defeated enemy with the strongest of words to date and considers it a war crime. It also calls on all neutral sides and media outlets to fulfill their duties by exposing and giving coverage to this inhumane barbarity. Media is open to send their representatives to the affected area to take pictures of the martyred and propagate the voice of the oppressed to the world. We vow to take revenge for this senseless cruelty and crime against the invaders and their internal hirelings in a much harsher manner and call on our countrymen to use gallantry and take a united stand against the invaders as the continuation of Jihad is the only way of deliverance from such savagery.
