Né le 25 mai 1924, Marshall a été un membre de Sun Ra Arkestra depuis 1958 et a dirigé le groupe depuis que Ra et John Gilmore ont quitté notre planète dans les années 90. Il a vecu en France pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et a collaboré avec des musiciens comme Sonic Youth, Caribou, Carl Craig, Paul Bley... pour mentioner quelques uns. Marshall est possedé par une incroyable force ainsi qu'une imagination artistique sauvagement fluide. Let's celebrate Marshalls's uniqueness. Enjoy the music!
