Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer la parution du second numéro de Volume ! dédié aux contre-cultures :

"Contre-cultures : Utopies, Dystopies, Anarchie".

Sous la direction de Sheila Whiteley, Université de Salford

Ce second volet est l’occasion pour nous de creuser les nombreuses ambiguïtés de la contre-culture des années 1960. Une première qui explore les élans modernistes et utopiques de la contre-culture, mais également ses facettes dystopiques et apocalyptiques, avec l’ombre de Charles Manson et le Jesus Movement. Une seconde qui examine le pendant expérimental de l’époque, à travers des analyses de l’anarchie sonore des « freaks », des improvisations des Grateful Dead et de la voix de Yoko Ono.

Un grand dossier "metal studies" vient faire l'état des lieux des études portant sur la galaxie du heavy metal.
