Sky News reveals the First picture of Jihadi John

Mohammed Emwazi stares coldly into camera just years before becoming world's most wanted Jihadi John... when known as student Mohammed Emwazi

Last week, "John" the terrorist member of Islamic State of Iraq and Levant responsible for the beheading of western hostages was identified as Kuwaiti-born Mohamed Emwazi, who grew up in west London.

Jihadi John identity was revealed to the Washington Post by friends and others familiar with the case, with one close acquaintance telling the paper: “I have no doubt that Mohammed is Jihadi John.”

“Jihadi John,” named after Beatle John Lennon due to his British accent, is believed to be responsible for the murders of U.S. journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff, British aid workers David Haines and Allan Henning and American aid worker Abdul-Rahman Kassig.
